Cannabis Jobs Are On The Rise in 2021

Unfortunately, the economy has taken a hit over the past 12 months due to the impact of the pandemic. A lot of people have lost their jobs, and they are now looking for employment. One part of the job market whereby they may be able to find employment is in the cannabis sector. In fact, a study by Leafly has shown that cannabis is the fastest-growing industry in America at the moment and that’s good news for those looking to enter the industry. Read on to discover more about it and the different job opportunities that are available for anyone who wants to work in this thriving sector.

A Leafly Jobs Report for 2021, which has recently been published, revealed that there are 321,000 full-time equivalent jobs that are supported by the legal cannabis market in the United States. These figures are accurate as of January this year. The total includes both ancillary and hands-on jobs. This means that everyone from accountants to budtenders are counted.

When you compare the number of legal cannabis jobs in the country at present with previous years, you see a significant difference. In 2017, there were 122,800 jobs supported by this industry. This then increased to 149,300 in 2018, and it further increased to 211,000 in 2019. In 2020, there were 243,700 jobs supported by the legal cannabis market. This means that there were 77,300 extra jobs created from 2020 to 2021, showing significant growth. Not only does this reveal how more jobs are being created in the cannabis industry every year, but it shows how the increase in jobs is also getting bigger and bigger, so this really is a sector that is thriving at the moment.

Despite the fact that the use of cannabis in some form is only legal in two-thirds of the US states, the industry is clearly growing at a rapid pace. So, what are some of the different jobs that are available if you want to work in the cannabis sector?

  • Harvester – The first job to consider if you want to work in the cannabis industry is becoming a harvester. Harvesting marijuana involves a number of different tasks, such as packaging, trimming, and growing. These jobs are physically demanding and labor-intensive, so do keep this in mind. You will not typically need to have any sort of previous experience. However, if you do have this, it is certainly going to put you at an advantage.

  • Production manager – Becoming a production manager is one job that you may want to consider if you are interested in working in the cannabis sector. A production manager is someone who will oversee and assess the complete cycle of the product, i.e. from seed to sale. If you work in this job, you need to account for the likes of staff management, process management, and operations, as well as managing timelines and budgets.

  • Store manager – Another job that may interest you if you want to work in the cannabis market is becoming a store manager. As a greater number of dispensaries have popped-up, store managers are required to ensure the smooth and successful operation of every store. Having previous experience of working in a dispensary will help your chances when trying to secure a job like this. At the minimum, you need to show that you can manage employees, sales, and retail operations successfully, as well as having exceptional retail skills.

  • Delivery person – There are a lot of dispensaries that provide delivery services to patients who have been prescribed medicinal marijuana but are not able to make it out of their homes to pick up the prescription themselves. Furthermore, cannabis companies will hire drivers to transport items to their numerous locations. In order to secure a job like this, a valid driver’s license is going to be needed, with no criminal record. Some businesses will ask that you have your own vehicle and your own GPS device. Depending on the state that you work in, it may also be a necessity to have a medical marijuana permit to work for the business in question.

  • Edible Chef – With medicinal and recreational marijuana available in a lot of different forms, including tea, candy, baked goods, and more, a number of different jobs have emerged. Edible chefs, for instance, are professionals who have the responsibility of creating recipes and delicious edibles for people to enjoy. There are a number of other job positions available if you want to work in the edibles part of the industry as well, including working in packaging and labeling, as well as working on the assembly line. You will need to have experience with food production and handling if you want to work with marijuana edibles, but with this job title you’ll never again find yourself wondering, “Where can I find edibles near me?” You’ll have the inside scoop!

  • Budtender – Finally, another option for anyone who wants to work in the legal cannabis market is to become a budtender. This is someone who is going to work at a dispensary, answering questions from the customer and ensuring that the correct information is provided. You will typically be the go-to resource for the consumer who is making purchases. Because of this, if you want to work as a budtender, you are going to need to have great customer service skills and be incredibly personable. It is also important to have experience in customer relations and sales.

So there you have it, an insight into the cannabis market and how jobs are on the rise in this industry. If you have a passion for cannabis and you’re looking for work right now, this may be an industry that you want to explore further, as more and more jobs are opening up at the moment.

Why Gummies are the Most Popular Cannabis Edible

The cannabis edibles market has grown in recent years and there’s now a wide range of products available. As well as the classics such as brownies and chocolate bars, you can also find savory snacks, sodas, and the most popular of all, gummies. Gummies and cannabis chews are taking over the market and it’s easy to see why. They’re not only tasty but you can enjoy them anytime and anywhere. Gummies are also convenient because you can control dosage and they have a longer shelf-life than other edibles. If you’re looking to sample these for the first time try out the best Vegas dispensary, Thrive Marketplace to ensure you’re getting quality products. Below, we’ve listed just a few of the reasons gummies are so popular!

Wide variety available

If you check out a Las Vegas strip dispensary like Thrive, you’ll likely find a wide range of gummies and candies. This is because there have been many innovations in the production of these tiny treats. They’re available in vegan varieties and you can choose from several fun flavors, like fruit-flavored and berry to sours and cocktails. Gummies also contain various combinations of CBD and THC, so you can find the right mix for you. Each is designed to have a different effect, but this can depend on the consumer. If you would like to learn more about the types of edible gummy products, check out the wide variety available.

Get an exact dose every time

One of the main advantages of gummies is that they have a set dosage. This is more difficult in the production process of other edibles such as chocolate and cakes. With gummies you can ensure you get the exact dosage you want. A lot can be said for the benefits of microdosing, and gummies are an easy way to consume a smaller dose quickly. Although they come in a range of dosages, every gummy in a pack will have the same ratio of THC and CBD. If you’re new to edibles, this can make it simpler to find the right dosage for you

Longer shelf-life than other edibles

Gummies also have the upper hand when it comes to shelf-life for cannabis products. They’re long-lasting and usually packaged securely to lock-in their flavor and potency. They also have a higher than average shelf-life in terms of edibles and as long as you store them in a cool, dry place, you can enjoy gummies for much longer than you would brownies or chocolate. Cannabis edibles like brownies and chocolate may perish quickly especially in the heat! On the other hand, you can pick up gummies at a Thrive dispensary in Vegas and take them with you on-the-go!

Advanced production methods

The production methods of gummies are advancing every day. With innovations such as automated production, manufacturers can determine a uniform dosage and have a total grasp on quality control. This makes the testing process much easier. Gummies tend to be more likely to pass controls for THC levels, for example. It takes fewer employees to produce a batch of gummies, as opposed to baked goods as well. This is the reason why they’re a popular choice for both manufacturers and consumers!

Good Weed = Good Sex: 9 Strains to Enhance Pleasure in the Bedroom

Cannabis is good for a lot of things, and sex is no exception.

According to the effects of specific strains, when you smoke good weed, you can have mind-blowing, life-altering sex. However, it’s important to do your research and learn which strains are best for sex, and what kind of effects come with it.

Let’s get started by exploring some potent and pleasant strains.

1. Jack Herer

Jack Herer is considered by many to be the best Sativa of all time.

It opens up your mind with creativity and euphoria, which allows you to watch the stress melt away. A lot of sexual dysfunction is because you are inside of your head.

With a strain like Jack taking some of your stress and anxiety away, it becomes a lot easier to remain comfortable in your skin and able to have the sex that you want. Because the strain also fosters openness and creativity, you will find yourself exploring different things in the bedroom and staying open and communicative with your partner.

2. OG Kush

You can’t go wrong with OG Kush. This is a hybrid strain that has won too many awards to count.

OG happens to be one of the most popular and versatile kinds of cannabis in the world, with libido-enhancing varieties like Banana OG, San Fernando Valley (SFV) OG, Blueberry OG, and Bubba OG serving as favorites.

The effects of OG Kush include a sense of calmness and peace, which helps you truly move into your power as a sexual being. It will help you to slow your breathing and breathe deeply, which is an essential part of the Kama Sutra and Taoist sexual practices.

If you are trying to have high-vibration, meditative sex that is filled with wonder and manifestations, OG Kush is an excellent strain to use.

3. Grandaddy Purp

This complex Indica blend takes you out of your head and puts you into your body.

When you can do this, you can feel the sensations more and will be able to relieve the tension of the day as you start to get into foreplay. This strain makes you euphoric and tastes great, and is excellent for any late-night encounter when you know you want nothing more than to go several rounds and pass out into a long, blissful sleep.

4. Sour Diesel

This world-famous, potent, pungent strain is great for sex.

With Sour D, you get the benefits of an Indica with the light euphoria of a Sativa. With this particular strain, you will experience a happiness that allows for movement and expression.

It gives you energy and creativity, rather than simply succumbing to couch lock.

5. Northern Lights

Northern Lights is yet another incredible Indica strain that lets you stay into the moment and focus on sexy thoughts and feelings.

It gets you out of your head, and won’t paralyze you with the anxiety and neuroticism that comes with other strains. You will be able to rest and relax into the moment, which is useful no matter what kind of sex you want to have.

6. Wedding Cookies

When you smoke wedding cookies by Pistola, it can help you take your sex to the next level.

This strain is known to make you relaxed and happy — two things that are crucial for good sex. It gives you intense euphoria and enthusiasm.

You will find that Wedding Cookies is an incredibly potent strain of cannabis, but not one that will overwhelm you.

This happiness and euphoria are great when you want intense, heartfelt lovemaking where high levels of emotion are present. It can also work well for intense dominant and submissive sex, such as tying your partner up or being tied up, or heavy spanking.

7. Jillybean

With Jillybean, you’re getting one of the happiest hybrids that you’ll find.

It will give you a chance to feel upliftment that will carry over into the bedroom. This is a great strain when you are feeling rather frisky and kinky since the energy is very playful and spontaneous.

8. Strawberry Cough

This is one of the happiest and more euphoric Sativa around. When you are planning for some high-intensity, good old-fashioned sex, you can’t go wrong with this one.

It soothes your anxiety away so that you don’t feel self-conscious so that you feel comfortable being completely naked and in the moment.

9. LSD

Finally, LSD is a very potent hybrid strain that creates a sense of euphoria, uplifted spirit, and creativity.

This strain gives the total-body high of an Indica with the energizing properties of a Sativa, making it a must before you hit the bedroom. You’ll feel comfortable in your skin with each kiss, touch, and moan.

Smoke Good Weed, Have Good Sex

So there you have it — when you smoke good weed such as the strains above, you can take your sex game to the next level.

Whether you’re a lover of all things Indica, a Sativa aficionado or a hybrid connoisseur, there are plenty of good choices for you. We can sell you whatever you need.

Cannabis or Melatonin: Is One Better For Sleep?

Sleep is something that the human body needs in order to be able to function at maximum capacity. Without sleep, you are going to feel tired, moody, irritable, and it can also have some adverse impacts on your health. Solely, if you are struggling to sleep, then it’s time that you started to do something about it. There are a number of different sleep aids that you can choose from, but in this article, we’re going to be focusing on melatonin and cannabis. We are going to look at whether one is better than the other for sleep, and how effective they are as sleep aids. Keep reading if you want to find out more.

Cannabis To Aid Sleep

Cannabis is used in multiple ways for a multitude of reasons, one of which is as a sleep aid. There is a range of types of cannabis, and where some are more energizing, others are known for having a more calming effect on the body. If you use a strain that has calming properties, then it is more likely to help you fall asleep. There are two different cannabinoids found in cannabis, one of which is CBD, and one is THC. CBD is non-psychoactive and has a range of health benefits, where THC is psychoactive and is what is responsible for the high feeling experienced. THC is also known for inducing sleep, which is why you’re going to want a strain that contains more THC than CBD if falling asleep is your goal, which has been backed up by a clinical trial.

As such, cannabis could be helpful when it comes to falling asleep. It depends on what kind of strain you get, and even then, there is no guarantee that it will help you to fall asleep when you need to. Not everyone has the same experience with cannabis, so you need to keep this in mind when you are looking at it as a potential sleep aid.

Are There Problems Using Cannabis?

The use of cannabis is still illegal in a few states, so make sure you check the rules and regulations in your area first. As well as this, smoking in any form is known as a health risk, so it’s highly recommended that you think carefully before you decide to try this out. However, there are alternatives to smoking cannabis such as edibles, so this problem can be avoided quite easily.

If you are under the age of 25, it is not recommended that you use cannabis in any form because of the impacts it can have on your brain. For example, if you are continuously using this product, then there have been some long-term side effects due to the change in the gray matter of the brain. There is a higher risk of permanent damage in teenagers, which is why you should look into alternatives if you are under 25.

It’s also important to note that THC is known to reduce REM (rapid eye movement), which means that you probably won’t experience any dreams and you will probably still feel sleepy the next day.

What Is Melatonin?

Melatonin is the naturally occurring hormone in your body that is responsible for controlling your sleeping pattern. It is usually used to treat short term sleeping problems such as insomnia for people who are over the age of 55. Even though this is the case, sometimes it is used to sleep problems in children and help to sort out a more consistent sleeping pattern. Most patients will take melatonin for between one and four weeks as it is not meant to be a long-term solution to the issue. Taking this hormone means that you are more likely to get to sleep without waking up in the middle of the night, which is why it is offered to some people as a supplement even though it is a naturally occurring hormone.

Melatonin To Aid Sleep

When you take a melatonin supplement, it copies the effects of the natural hormone, making sleep easier to achieve for some people. One of the best things about taking melatonin is that unlike many other medicines that are prescribed for sleeping problems, you are unlikely to become dependent on it, making it safe for use. Another benefit of this is that it is unlikely for you to experience a diminished response to melatonin after taking an extra dose to what is produced in your body.

Melatonin can help sleep cycles for certain conditions and for certain patients, but it is observed by Dr. Breus that it is not a very effective treatment for something like insomnia. Delayed sleep phase seems to be what melatonin is most effective at treating things like jet lag and insomnia.

However, there are also some potential side effects of melatonin that you need to be aware of. These include nausea, drowsiness, headaches, dizziness, and a couple of other less common ones such as short feelings of depression, confusion, and low blood pressure. If you experience something that is less common, you should speak to your doctor sooner rather than later.

Cannabis Or Melatonin?

In the end, though, it seems that it comes down to personal preference. While there are benefits to both, melatonin helps with actually falling asleep, but cannabis may do this with lasting effects. Melatonin isn’t going to leave you feeling fatigued in the morning, which is a definite bonus, whereas you might end up with what’s known as a ‘cannabis hangover’ when using cannabis. It depends on what kind of sleep you want to experience, and this will determine which product is best for you. If you simply want to fall asleep, all the evidence says that both of these sleep aids will do just that for you. But, remember that there is nothing definitive in this and people react differently to everything, so while these things may be able to help, it’s difficult to know for sure.

Viva Las Vegas: Your Guide to Throwing an Awesome Las Vegas Bachelorette Party

Let’s face it, wedding planning is stressful. From a mix up with the flowers to issues finding the perfect dress, the blushing bride hasn’t been in the most relaxed state during the process.

Here comes the saving grace – one wild and wicked bachelorette party with the bridal squad in the nightlife capital of the United States. It could only be the almighty party paradise that is Sin City!

Las Vegas is one of the hottest bachelorette party destinations in the world, and with good reason. The weather is incredible year-round and there is so much to do when it comes to letting loose and having fun!

But with so many options, it’s a bit daunting.

How to plan a bachelorette party? What should you book? Where to even start?

That’s why we’re here to help with our guide to throwing the ultimate Las Vegas bachelorette party – so the bridal shower can enjoy one hell of a party before the big day!

1. Line Those Stomachs at an Amazing Restaurant

Before hitting the clubs it’s a wise idea to line those stomachs with some delicious grub. Not only will it help with the hangover, but Las Vegas is home to some of the finest dining experiences in the country, with restaurants owned by some of the world’s top chefs.

This makes it difficult to choose a spot – but luckily almost impossible to make a bad choice!

Sushi Samba, located at The Palazzo, is a popular fine-dining choice among guests. Imagine a restaurant where the intense flavors of Japan meet with the party atmosphere of Brazil.

Choose from delicious and decadent sushi rolls, tempura and seafood dishes. It’s a sushi experience like no other!

Bottomless brunch is a great way to get bang for your buck – with unlimited alcohol with your morning brunch within a certain time period. Mandalay Bay and The Venetian offer yummy boozy brunches at a decent value.

2. Go Gambling

Although you can have an incredible time in Vegas without touching a slot machine, you might as well give it go while you’re there, right?

Las Vegas is littered with casinos, so choosing one is a bit overwhelming.

New York, New York is a great option, especially for newbies as the dealers are warm and happy to explain the games. Plus, there’s a roller coaster, right in the middle of the action! Just remember to take a ride before you start boozing – not after.

3. Hit the Night Clubs

On a Vegas bachelorette party, hitting the clubs is an absolute must. Sin City hosts some of the best clubs in the world and a night on the town is bound to be a memorable one.

If you want to go all out, XS at Encore boasts renowned DJs that play almost every night of the week. The Chainsmokers, Diplo, David Guetta, and Steve Angello are just a few of the famous faces that grace the decks.

There are, however, many club choices – you’ll have the pick of the bunch.

Make sure you check out Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram for promoter contact information. Promoters are everywhere in Vegas and can help secure the VIP guest list, which gets you free entry and lets you avoid the long lines. This is especially true for big groups of girls heading in together.

Got some budget to play with? Party in true celebrity style and go for bottle and table service. You’ll have your own space to sit and relax between sets should you need a break from dancing on those fierce heels!

The bride will feel like a true VIP.

4. Let Loose at a Pool Party

No bachelorette party is complete without hitting one of Vegas’s famous pool parties.

Pop into your most stylish swim gear and get glam – it may be a pool party, but don’t hesitate to dress up.

Again, there are many parties to choose from but the most impressive include Marquee Day Club at the Cosmopolitan, Daylight at Mandalay Bay, and Encore Beach Club.

Grab a strawberry daiquiri and boogie under the sun with your best gal pals to some of the globe’s top DJs.

5. Soothe Sore Heads at a Spa

There will come a point where your heads are pounding, your stomachs are queasy, and you need a much-needed break from the non-stop partying.

Luckily, on your Vegas bachelorette party, there is ample choice of day spas to relax and get pampered in. Plus, it will be a welcome retreat from the scorching desert sun.

The Venetian offers some of the most indulgent spa days and you can also find decent day passes for non-guests at Treasure Island, Caesars Palace, and Bellagio.

6. Marvel at a Themed Show

A hilarious and fun way to celebrate with your bridal party is to head to one of the sexy all-male themed shows!

Magic Mike and Thunder From Down Under are popular choices among bachelorette parties and watching the performers flaunt their chiseled, jacked bodies is sure to provide a lot of giggles among your group.

Alternatively, Cirque du Soleil is a classy option and has a reputation for performing some of the most mind-boggling shows across the globe. Any one of them is bound to blow your mind, but their show Zumanity is particularly popular.

7. Smoke Some Legal Cannabis

After a jam-packed schedule, it’s likely by the end of the bachelorette party you’ll want to chill and relax with your bridal team.

Here at Thrive, we offer legal, safe and high-quality recreational cannabis for those moments you want to unwind. With our convenient marijuana delivery service, we’ll even deliver it for ultimate ease, but legally you can only consume if you are staying at a private residence, so keep that in mind!.

Significant Other Hates Cannabis? Here’s How To Navigate A Compromise

A relationship is going to have challenges because dating is already as complicated as it is. You may be big on sci-fi movies while they binge-watch romantic comedies. They might like breakfast foods for dinner rather than you enjoying it for the first meal of the day. Your partner might cheer for your local home team, while you are a die-hard fan of your out-of-state team. Whatever the case may be, differences can be overcome in a relationship as long as there is a little bit of effort.

Cannabis and Couples

Finding ways to coexist with a partner who is cannabis-free can be daunting. For better or for worse, the legalization of cannabis has entered the dating conversation. If you’ve found yourself in a partnership with a non-cannabis user and want to continue the relationship, there are appropriate measures to take to ensure both are comfortable with your cannabis consumption. You may be reluctant to bring up your smoking habits at first, but there are plenty of ways to navigate a relationship with your significant other who isn’t educated on the benefits of cannabis.

Here are some ideas to keep your relationship thriving.

1) Honesty & Communication

First things first, communication and compromise are key. Right off the bat, it’s helpful to be open and honest about your cannabis consumption. Hiding your whereabouts to your significant other or keeping them in the dark may make them think that you’re lying. Treat the cannabis conversations and agreements just like anything else in the relationship. Confronting your significant other about cannabis does not have to be any different from discussing safer sex practices, finances, or even work-related conversations. It may be challenging for a non-smoker to understand how to adapt to a smoker’s world, so it’s important to accommodate your partner. If they do not feel comfortable when you bring cannabis into your home or when you ask them to enjoy it with you, then there’s no reason to pressure them. Creating boundaries and clear expectations together will help with any future problems or surprises further down the road.

2) Get on the Same Page

If you or your partner have faced difficulties or problems while talking about cannabis, take some time to discuss the emotions, reactions, and thoughts of each person together. Find the time to figure out where their cannabis experience went wrong or what you could do to help educate them since you are the cannabis expert in this case. Part of this ongoing negotiation will be listening and responding to the needs of one another.

Conversation starters to fit the situation:

  • How do you see my/your relationship with cannabis?
  • These are the benefits I see in cannabis consumption…
  • Do you have any issues or concerns and what could possibly help?
  • How can my cannabis habits be improved?

Being accommodating and understanding is effective in any relationship, especially when the topic of cannabis is involved. Cannabis users have to deal with judgment and stigma all day. It’s essential to adjust and meet in the middle while guiding your way through the rapport. Ask your partner why they may have a negative view about cannabis whether it’s because of work guidelines or a failed urine test that could end their career. It might even be the stigma or adolescence that has been holding them back from discovering the power of cannabis. Sparking up the conversation will lead to finding common ground. They might give it a second chance or become canna-curious in wanting their first experience.

3) Keep an Open Mind

To your significant other, it may be all fun and games, but they’ll need their own way to mellow out. Cannabis users consume for relaxation and unwinding after a long day. The best thing a non-smoker can do is find their own ways to destress. They can mimic your mellow vibes through a glass of wine, reading, or even yoga and meditation. They may also just enjoy the contact-high they get from your consumption.

Enjoying aspects of the cannabis culture together could be an everlasting bonding experience. Your partner doesn’t need to be a smoker to enjoy trippy books or movies. If you open up at least one element of the cannabis world to them, they could possibly change their perspective. If you have a high tolerance, advise your newbie cannabis partner to start slow with a low-dose. Smoking isn’t something that comes naturally to people, so consuming infused cannabis edibles can make for a better option if they don’t like the cough after a first smoke. Edibles are discreet for both recreational and medical cannabis consumers. Since the body has to work to digest the edible and the THC is broken down and filtered through the bloodstream, it can take anywhere from 30 minutes to two hours before feeling the full effect. Each person’s reaction is different after their first session. Whether they fall for cannabis or decide that they hate it, meeting in the middle is a must. Conversing and opening up different suggestions will lead to a little compromise. Couples can explore various approaches such as only consuming on days apart or opting for non-intoxicating CBD strains. Either way, it is definitely possible to have different views on cannabis, while tending to a lifelong, fulfilling relationship.

Our team at THRIVE is here to help ease the conversation and navigate a pro-cannabis relationship. If you live in Las Vegas our knowledgeable budtenders are here to answer any questions either of you may have and can provide suggestions on the best products to keep your relationship THRIVING. Americans Support of Legalized Cannabis Increases!

Over the years, cannabis has been growing in popularity and this has led to the growing support of cannabis legalization. There was a Gallup poll released that showed that ⅔ of Americans support cannabis legalization, this is the highest level of support since it all began 50 years ago. Americans are more likely to support cannabis legalization now than ever before, and this is positive for the future of natural medicine. The first Gallup poll was measured in 1969 where 12% of Americans backed cannabis legalization and with 32 states now legal for medical cannabis use, cannabis legalization is growing in support.

In the November 3rd election, Arizona, Montana, New Jersey, and South Dakota all voted for cannabis legalization and as a result, authorized the legal use of recreational cannabis. Many of the key demographic groups support cannabis legalization, too, which is good news for the Las Vegas dispensaries. In these groups, college graduates and low-income households were more likely to favor legalization compared to the older generations. Along with this, the poll shows that politically left-leaning and centrist Americans are supportive of cannabis legalization, but under half of conservatives and Republicans do. The views differ when it comes to cannabis legalization and a slim majority of those who regularly attend church oppose cannabis legalization. Around four in five adults who attend church less frequently favor legalization. It was back in 2012, that Colorado and Washington both became the first states to legalize cannabis, and since then the number of states supporting it has grown. 70% of adults in America now believe smoking cannabis to be morally acceptable, this aligns with the availability of cannabis research in the last decade.

We now know more about cannabis today than we ever have, and with plenty of studies being done to show that cannabis may be key in helping those with cancer, chronic illness, depression and anxiety, and pain, it’s helping plenty of those previously against legalization to support it today. The moral acceptance in smoking cannabis comes with understanding how it can help. For years, cannabis was something used by smaller religious groups and it was frowned upon as a regular substance. Today, we know that cannabis may help someone to get through the day without full dependence on it in the same way that they would alcohol. We also know that it costs the healthcare system far less if people are turning to cannabis and not alcohol or cigarettes. This has helped to turn around whether people think it’s morally okay to smoke.

With an increase in the number of states approving cannabis legalization, there could be a change in federal policy on the horizon. The figure showing those who support cannabis legalization is the highest it has ever been and if the trends are correct, the polls showing cannabis legalization’s popularity could be even higher by the next election. This could lead to a  shift in sentencing for those who serve for crimes relating to carrying and distributing cannabis, which will provide relief for the prison system. The legalization of recreational cannabis in some states is not going to revert back any time soon, which goes to show that it hasn’t created a generation of people addicted to a new substance.

The American people are happy with the cannabis legalization that is taking place – or they wouldn’t vote for it! If cannabis legalization occurs, it’s in line with the desires and expectations of the voters, and this is good news for the Las Vegas dispensaries who are selling cannabis legally to individuals. Cannabis can be consumed in a number of ways – not just smoking – so anyone who is worried about cannabis legalization because of smoking only needs to look to the experts to see that there are more options than that.

How To Not Smell Like Cannabis

Cannabis smokers love that euphoric and chilled high, but who wants the scent to linger letting the world know the activities you just have partaken in? Any takers? We thought so. To save your personal hygiene and your home from the lingering scent of cannabis, there are (luckily) plenty of things you can do to get rid of that infamous odor.

  1. Brush & floss

Practicing proper dental hygiene is one way to give you fresh breath after a smoke sesh. Give your teeth a quick brush and floss once you’re done smoking your favorite cannabis strains. For smokers, good oral hygiene is a must to keep your pearly whites looking fresh. You’ll wanna choose a toothpaste that’s good for both whitening and bad breath. A popular choice is a toothpaste made with coconut oil and activated charcoal.

  1. A strong-flavored snack

What better way to ditch the smell than replacing it with another (preferably one that’s more desirable)! Chomping down on a strongly flavored snack after you smoke will get rid of that cannabis smell, no problem. Pizza breath, chocolate breath, Cheeto breath? Smoking is a good excuse to chow down on all your munchie cravings.

  1. Switch to edibles

If none of these options are working for you, there is always another alternative to consuming cannabis. Why not ditch the pre-rolls and get yourself some tasty cannabis-infused edibles. There are plenty of cannabis-infused treats out there to test, from gummy bears to cookies, macaroons, chocolates, and even cannabis-infused peanut butter cups. All the high you need while being odorless. Make sure to utilize our 24/7 delivery service for the widest-selection of cannabis edibles, including salted caramels and white chocolate and raspberry bars.

  1. Try incense

Don’t want your Postmates driver to know of your smoking habits? Once you’ve sorted out your personal hygiene, it’s time to rid your home of the cannabis odor. Luckily, with extra time at home, there is more you can do to make the home fresh and clean. A popular choice to remove the lingering cannabis smell is lighting incense. Sandalwood and Eucalyptus provide a relaxing environment and also create an improved scent in the household. Patchouli incense is another great option to mask the cannabis smell. It’s made from the flowers of the patchouli plant, and you can also buy it in oil form. There are so many great new cannabis strains to try via our 24/7 delivery, so having some home essentials to create a great environment is important.

  1. Cook up a storm

Cooking is also a great way of turning your home into a perfectly scented atmosphere. Using popular spices and ingredients such as garlic, cinnamon, and lavender can help improve the vibe in your home. If all else fails, cook up a storm for you and your social-distancing partner, and enjoy a date-night indoors.
